EU: Malt exports drop 1% in July-October
TAXUD shows EU malt exports of 808 thousand tonnes (grain equivalent) in July-October 2019, minus 1% for the crop year 2019/20, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier in November.
As the U.K. is not listed at all, real exports are definitely larger, the analysts pointed out.
The major destinations (in thousand tonnes) were: Japan 68, Vietnam 54, South Africa 36, Ethiopia 36, Mexico 30.
