USA: Domestic beer sales see 2% drop over the first nine months of the year

U.S. domestic tax-paid beer sales were 126 mln barrels (about 147 mln hl) in January-September 2019, down 2% for the year, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier this month.

Beer imports in January-August totalled 25.3 mln barrels (about 29.7 mln hl), up 1.3%, of which from Mexico 17.8 mln barrels, up 3.2%.
