UK & South Africa: Analysts at Dresdner Kleinwort maintain their ‘add’ rating on SABMiller Plc

In a research note published October 10, the analysts mention that the company’s reported EPS is expected to be adversely affected by nearly 4.5% in the near future on account of the weaker rand relative to the US dollar.

SABMiller witnessed weak US volumes in September, primarily on account of high imports, the analysts say. Dresdner Kleinwort expresses its concerns regarding the possibility of the industry witnessing tough same store sales in 4Q.
