USA, MO: Ferguson Brewing Company to shut down for good later this year
The Ferguson Brewing Company will close its doors for the final time later this year, the company announced on October 10.
The owners of the brewery made the announcement on Facebook and said their final day of service will be on Dec. 20 of this year.
“After 15 and a half years of riding the roller coasters of ups and downs, and facing challenges and adversities at every corner; we came to the sad realization that we just couldn’t continue any longer,” read part of the post.
The owners said they were not able to find someone to buy the brewery but were able to find a buyer for the building who will turn it into something new. The new owners are also local to Ferguson, the company said.
A joint statement from Ferguson Brewing Company and the new building owners about the future of the location is expected next week.
"We hope you all will come by one last time to enjoy your favorite brew, see your favorite server/bartender, and enjoy a fresh cooked meal with us. Thank you so, so much for everything you’ve done for us and our family," the Company said.
