EU: Early 2025/26 malt exports continue to lag previous four years

EU malt exports in early 2025/26 continue to lag the previous four years, with Belgium leading the list of EU-27 origins (at 92,921 tonnes), RMI Analytics said in their early September report.

While most of the importing countries trail year ago levels, the leading importer Brazil offers some positivity as malt imports are sharply ahead of the shipment pace from the 2024/25 crop cycle.
