China: China Resources Beer's net profit dips 8% in 2024
China Resources Beer's net profit dipped over 8 percent year-on-year to 4.74 billion yuan last year as the impairment loss on fixed assets offset higher earnings by premier products, the company announced on March 18.
Turnover was 38.6 billion yuan, 0.76 percent lower than one year ago.
The group achieved beer sales volume of approximately 10,874,000 kilolitres in 2024, outperforming major competitors.
In the first two months of 2025, preliminary statistics shows that the group achieved single-digit growth in beer sales volume despite a high base from the previous year, with its continued development in premiumisation.
