World: Malt utilization rate forecast to increase to 90.3% by 2028
Globally, the malt utilization rate for 2023 is estimated at 83.6% and is forecast to gradually increase to 90.3% in 2028, RMI Analytics’ latest report says.
On a regional level, there remains a wide disparity amongst the regions. Utilizations in emerging markets should remain tighter, and more mature regions holding the surplus capacity to a greater extent.
