Scandinavia: Barley prices up, crop results generally favourable

Barley prices are up in Scandinavia as well as in the rest of the world, with crop 2021 leading the way, RMI Analytics reported earlier in September.

The crop result is generally favourable in the region, both in terms of quality and yields.

Besides, the analysts expect Canada to require Danish 2021 barley crop to offset local crop quality challenges, like lower sizing and higher proteins.
