EU: Malt exports increase during the first two months of current campaign
EU malt exports during July 1 - August 30, 2021 were 358 thousand tonnes versus 348 thousand tonnes over the same period last year (in grain equivalent), H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier in September.
Main destinations for European malt were: Nigeria with 33 thousand tonnes, Cameroon with 23 thousand, Japan with 21 thousand, Brazil with 19, and the USA with 18 thousand tonnes.
