EU: Malt exports up 6.2% in July 2020 – February 2021
EU malt exports in July 1, 2020 – February 28, 2021 totalled 1.983 mln tonnes (in grain equivalent), plus 6.2 % versus the same period last marketing year, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier this month.
Main destinations were Brazil with 318 thousand tonnes (+ 300% y/y), Nigeria with 132 thousand tonnes, Vietnam with 119 thousand tonnes, Japan with 101 thousand tonnes, and Cambodia with 84 thousand tonnes.
