Germany & USA: January beer sales drop in Germany, increase in the US
Germany’s beer sales totalled 4.75 mln hl in January this year, minus 27% year-on-year, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported earlier this month.
USA’s domestic tax-paid beer shipments were 12.7 mln bbls in January, plus 2.4% year-on-year. Imports totalled 36.4 mln bbls. last year, plus 0.3% year-on-year.
