South Korea: Oriental Brewery appoints Horim Yi as new CEO

Oriental Brewery announced Horim Yi was appointed as new CEO of Oriental Brewery, Korea Newswire reported April 2. His last assignment before joining Oriental Brewery was CEO of TRY Brands, Inc. from 2005. Prior to that, he held various senior leadership roles including CEO of Pizza Hut Korea and COO of Wal-Mart Korea.

Born in Seoul, Korea, Mr. Yi studied mechanical engineering at Vanderbilt University and obtained MBA from Dartmouth University in the United States.
