We are delighted to announce the arrival of Bairds Malt's iconic malts.

Extra Pale Ale Malt
• An exceptionally pale colour, lighter than lager malt
• The ideal choice for XPAs, Pale Ales, IPAs and Blondes
• Perfect for hoppy beers that are intensely aromatic and hazy

Beer style: Modern pale ales, IPAs
Aromatic profile: Provides a golden colour and rich malty flavours notes
Use: Up to 100%
Moisture (% min): 4.0
Fine grind extract (% min): 80.0
Total protein (% max): 10.6
Colour (EBC): 2.5 – 4.4
Diastatic power (KW min): 140
Kolbach (%): 40.0 – 45.0.

Maris Otter Malt ®
• An iconic UK barley variety, grown mainly in English fields and enjoyed by the world's leading brewers for over 50 years
• One of the first choices for brewing authentic British ales
• The main ingredient in typical English Pale Ale recipes

Beer style: Best Ales
Aromatic profile: Provides sweet and complex biscuit notes
Use: Up to 100%
Moisture (% min): 4.0
Fine grind extract (% min): 80.5
Total protein (% max): 10.6
Colour (EBC): 4.4 – 6.6
Diastatic power (KW min): 140
Kolbach (%): 40.0 – 45.0
