| Features |
| Château Cara Ultra 150 is a new-generation caramel malt designed for breweries and distilleries seeking originality. It is produced through a unique process based on the steam saccharification of green malt in a dedicated chamber, maximizing the formation of simple sugars. These are then polymerized into complex sugars in the roasting drum. This process achieves a very high level of caramelization. |
| Characteristics |
| Château Cara Ultra 150 delivers deep and intense caramel aromas, while maintaining exceptional smoothness thanks to its lower bitterness and astringency compared to other caramel malts. As a result, it can be used in higher proportions without imparting roasted or coffee-like notes. It also enhances the body of specialty beers and improves foam formation and retention. |
| Usage |
| Ideal for Amber Ales, Brown Ales, Dark Lagers, Bocks, and similar beer styles.
Recommended usage: from 1% up to 20%. |
| Storage and Shelf life |
| Malt should be stored in a clean, cool (< 22 °C) and dry (< 35 RH %) area. If these conditions are observed, we recommend to use all whole kernel products within 24 months from the date of manufacture and all milled products within 3 months.
