Argentina: Conditions for barley crop seen as more or less good

GrainCom analysts said on October 19 they see more or less good crop conditions for wheat and barley in Argentina.

Some regions might be looking for some more moisture, but the analysts continue to expect a crop size north of 4 mln tonnes.

Worrisome for the malting and brewing industry is the fact that already a big volume has been sold as feed barley (more than 1 mln tonnes). Prices remain well supported in view of good export demand for the feed barley.
