Germany: Total beer output estimated at around 100.2 mln hl last year
Dr. Kelch published the real beer output figure of 2017 in Germany, H. M. Gauger GmbH reported on March 29.
As per the estimates, 6.2 mln hl of alcohol-free and “malz” beer plus the official beer statistics of 94 mln hl add up to an output of 100.2 mln hl in 2017.
Beer sales (without alcohol-free beer) in January-February 2018 were 12.4 mln hl, up 2.0% from last year.
