Brewing news Canada, ON: Ottawa’s Dog & Pony Brewlab officially shut down

Ontario Beverage Network reports that Ottawa’s Dog & Pony Brewlab has officially shut down after several months of inactivity.

The nanobrewery was launched in May 2016 by Steve Fitzpatrick, Tristan Bragaglia-Murdock, and John Richardson, all former employees of Beyond The Pale Brewing. The trio brewed small batches out of the kitchen of Union Local 613 restaurant and bar, where their beers were exclusively available.

According to a statement posted on Facebook last week, the partners “felt the market was reaching saturation and it likely wasn’t a good time to enter,” and that they have “parted ways to work on their own respective projects.”
