Canada, NS: Tanner & Co. Brewing expected to open in August
According to Maritime Beer Report, a new brewery is getting set to open this summer in the village of Chester Basin in Nova Scotia’s Lunenburg County, Canadian Beer News reported on June 23.
Tanner & Co. Brewing is being founded by homebrewer and sommelier Dan Tanner and partner Peggy Locke. Core brands will include “a lightly hopped Pale Ale, as well as a lighter Dampfbier and darker Roggenbier,” as well as limited edition beers brewed using grapes from an onsite vineyard.
Tanner & Co. is expected to open in August, and will focus selling its beer at farmers markets as well as on draught at local pubs.
