Canada, ON: Manitoulin Brewing already open in Little Current on Manitoulin Island

After “5 years of planning, 1 year of construction,” Manitoulin Brewing launched on June 13th its brewery and retail store in the town of Little Current on Ontario’s Manitoulin Island, Canadian Beer News reported.

Founded by local residents and long-time friends Blair Hagman and Nishin Meawasige, Manitoulin Brewing launched its flagship Swing Bridge Blond Ale in 2015 as a contract brew while a location was scouted and the brewery built out.

Now open at 43 Manitowaning Road in Little Current, the brewery taproom and retail store is selling glasses, growlers, and cans of Swing Bridge as well as the more recently launched Bridal Veil Pale Ale. Retail hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Thursday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
