Russia: Malt output down 10% in 2016
Over the 12 months of the past year Russian maltsters produced a total of 1.06 mln tonnes of malt which is 10% less than in 2015, Zerno Online reported citing Rosstat data.
Russia’s Central Federal District saw its production decline 20% to 595.4 thousand tonnes while the Povolzhye Federal District increased output by 7% to 194.2 thousand tonnes.
